Last night, I got the opportunity to watch the Dear Evan Hansen movie. It was absolutely phenomenal, and I feel very compelled to write a post about it. I have heard so many conflicted reviews on it. Some people love it, some people hate it, and so I wanted to share my thoughts on it.

11 ways to manage anxiety and depression

Hello, friends!

Well, as you can probably tell, I’m on a mental health awareness kick right now. I have a lot of posts planned revolving around mental health (and some more light hearted ones too, don’t worry), and this is the first of them. (Well, maybe it’s not. By the time I finish this post I may have published another one since I’m working on several ideas.)

Before I get started with this post, let me say the following:

~ I am not a therapist, nor have I been lucky enough to work with a therapist. These are all methods I have discovered by myself through trial and error, and some I’ve picked up from the internet and self care books.

~ Everyone is different. What works for me may not work for you. Anxiety and depression are not “one size fits all”. It might be helpful if they were, but they’re not. I’ve had to test out many different methods over several years.
