I’m Chloë (also known as Star, Cocobean, or Clo-Clo), and I’m a 19 year old writer, actress, and of course, dreamer. I believe that no dream is too big, and I’ve been chasing my big dreams since I was tiny.
I am an aspiring author, and have been pursuing writing seriously since I was 11. My writing journey has had ups and downs- there was a time that I completely gave up any hope of becoming a published author. Thankfully, I was able to work through that, and I am now a student at the Author Conservatory, where I am receiving feedback from industry professionals and strengthening all areas of my writing in order to pursue publication in the next few years.
I am a theater kid- while I’ve had to put acting on the back burner as I pivot most of my attention to writing, you’ll still catch me belting show tunes in my room, in the shower, and even at work. I enjoy a vide variety of musicals, my favorites being Dear Evan Hansen, Six, Come From Away, and Wicked. I’ve performed in over 14 different shows in the span of six years, including Little Women (twice!), Get Smart (also twice!), and The Prince and The Pauper. One day I hope to dive back into acting as a side career, and you will be sure to hear about that when it happens!
I am a mental health advocate. I believe that there is a huge stigma around the topic of mental health and mental illness, and so I strive to be open and honest about my personal experiences with mental health struggles. I can’t speak for everyone, but I can share my experiences, and in doing so, I hope to do my part in breaking down the stigma, one step at a time. I struggle daily with multiple mental health conditions (including different anxiety disorders and depression). Feel free to ask me any questions you have about the subject and I’m happy to answer them if I can!
Let’s talk about books… that seems only fitting, considering that I label myself as a bookdragon. I enjoy stories with mental health and disability representation, found family, cinnamon roll characters, and hopeful yet bittersweet endings, but to be honest, I’ll read just about anything you give me. Some of the books I love most include Little Women, The Hunger Games, Once Upon a Broken Heart, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, and the list goes on. I love all genres, though I am especially fond of low fantasy and a sweet contemporary romance.
I’m a Marvel girl through and through. Give me allll the superheroes. This is a fandom that people thought I would grow out of after a couple of years, and I am proud to say that they were wrong. 😉
Some other random things I love: anything cottagecore (can you tell by my blog design?), crochet, a good TV show, cozy blankets, writing in coffee shops, Taylor Swift, boba tea, Disney, Barnes & Noble, cosplaying, roleplaying, cuddling with any kind of animal, cookies and cream anything, and the weeks I’ve spent at summer camp and hold fondly in my memory.
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet! I’d love to hear more about you, so feel free to drop a comment on this page or elsewhere on my blog- I love making new friends.
ALL THE ELVISH ON THIS BLOG IS POSITIVELY AMAZING, BTW!
You and I have so much in common. XD

Almost all of them. I haven’t seen either of the Guardians of the Galaxy or Dr. Strange or The Incredible Hulk, but I think I’ve seen all the others.

That’s super cool. I watched Winter Soldier yesterday. I was surprised by the amount of car collisions in it. I’ve seen that one, the first two Iron Mans, the first Spiderman, all four of the Avenger movies… and I think another one but I can’t remember XD

Yep, there were tons of car collisions in TWS. XD

Well- the Myers Brigg has four letters- I think the two of us are opposites when it comes to that. I am an ENFP. I can understand your struggle with anxiety due to my struggle with epilepsy, which is a pain. My main escape from epilepsy belong to seeing musicals in person.
I also love Lord of the Rings- both the books and the movies.

Oh, yeah! I really loved it for a long time, but it’s not like it used to be at all, so I decided it wasn’t worth sticking around… 😦 I don’t write much anymore anyway, so I don’t regret it at all, and I’ve been able to invest more in my acting, but I’m so glad there are writers who are still finding it useful!!!! 😀

Hi Chloe!
I just found your blog through Makayla’s. “I Love Lucy” is a favorite of mine too. I cannot stand any of the Mr. Bean shows…. he just annoys me so much!

Hi Chloe! *offers you a doughnut ’cause I forgot to buy oreos too* Lol.
I’m Lily, and I just found your blog; it’s really nice to meet you! And I just want to say your hedgehog is ADORABLE!! Are they hard to take care of? I knew a person once who wanted one for a pet, but they couldn’t because their stat wouldn’t allow them.
By the way, I love Jane Eyre too, though it’s been awhile since I’ve read it. And your blog layout is super cute. How long have you been acting, if I may ask?

It’s lovely to meet you, Lily! 😀 Thank you for stopping by!
Hehe, he is quite cute if I do say so myself. They’re not the easiest pets ever, but they’re really not hard work. They just have very specific dietary and housing needs, and they are patience pets because they’re shy and have so many sharp quills. 😀 Aww, yeah, I’m glad my state allows them.
Thank you! 😀
I have been acting for seven years!

Lol, I see.
Wow, 7 years? What got you started? (sorry, I have a few friends who adore theater/musical theater, and though it was never my thing, I was always curious as to how people get started) 🙂

I could talk about theater all day, no worries! I joined a homeschool theater group as an after school activity and discovered that I really love being on stage, so I just never stopped. 😀
